On Thursday, The CW brought its stars to New York for the announcement of its Fall 2012 schedule, and “Supernatural” fans were surprised that after years of reliable performance on Friday nights, the show is moving to Wednesdays.

“Hey guys, we’re on Wednesdays,” star Jared Padalecki laughed on the red carpet. “Y’all can all go out drinking again.” The move was made to pair “Supernatural” with freshman drama “Arrow,” which will hopefully help boost numbers for both action-driven series.

Padalecki welcomed his son Thomas just two months ago, and he admits to being on “baby time” right now. Given that “Supernatural” has just two leads, days off during shooting are pretty rare. Padalecki explains that after the events of tomorrow night’s Season 7 finale, there will be some opportunity for Sam and Dean to spend a little time apart — which could mean a few more days off for him and co-star Jensen Ackles.

“You’ll see why tomorrow, but we’re going to have a wonderful opportunity to see the brothers apart, and I hope, I hope, I hope we take advantage of it,” Padalecki says.

Though Sam and Dean may be “at odds” a bit, don’t worry — off screen, there’s no trouble in bromance-land. “I love working with Jensen, he’s a dear friend and we get along great, but I love the episodes like ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ where I met my wife, where you really delve into Sam or conversely, delve into Dean,” he tells us. “There was another one where Sam and Dean broke apart, and he’s working in a diner and stuff like that, and again, you get to see Sam on his own and Dean on his own. I think that’s awesome because you get to strengthen the characters, so when they do come back together they have something to share. I hope we do it.”

We’re not sure how fans will feel about Sam and Dean splitting up, but we may have more important things to worry about after the finale. “We do have to say goodbye to more than one beloved character, and we see one brother specifically in a really sticky situation,” Padalecki teases.

Here are some of the highlights:

A major character will die in the series. Before you start throwing things, let me first point out a previous QA with Clare. When she was asked if she would be afraid to kill off a main character she answered, “I would not be afraid, I would be sad but sometimes it would be necessary for the story to move on.” So this pending death should not be a surprise to Mortal Instruments fans. Clare is going to do what’s best for the series and all of her fans should be happy with this.

As for what’s going to happen in ‘City of Heavenly Fire?’ Clare states, “what the end of ‘City of Lost Souls’ promises.”

Someone inquired about any romance between Simon and Jace but Clare explained that Jace was busy having another bromance.

And to the topic that most fans are most interest in….movie news. Clare says that there is lots of casting for ‘City of Bones’ going on behind the scenes. With filming beginning this August movie news should really start to pick up.

Fox News Channel’s Michael Tammero caught up with True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten. They discuss Ryan’s role of Jason Stackhouse and share a few hints about what we can expect on Season 5. Ryan says this season is going to be the most “controversial season.”

True Blood’s new cast member, Scott Foley, the former “Felicity” star opened up at the Fox Upfront on Monday, where he revealed that “True Blood” might be the hottest set in TV history.

“I am going to be on ‘True Blood.’ It was really exciting,” “I had a great time shooting it. I spent the last nine months shooting this season and it was very secretive, very sexy, a lot of blood and fangs.”

If you’ll recall the closing episodes of season four, Scott plays war vet Patrick, who comes to town to meet up with old pal Terry. While he wouldn’t share much else about what kind of trouble could be brewing with his character in Bon Temps, he did tease that he gets sexy with someone on the show and that we might even get to see the Full Foley.

“I’m not sure,” he said when asked if he has any sexy moments with one of the town’s sexy residents. “It’s up to you when you watch it.” So, will he get naked considering, like, every guy on the show gets naked? “There you go,” he joked.
