David Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars received multiple buyers at Cannes .

eOne has closed multiple deals on David Cronenberg’s new thriller Maps to the Stars, starring Mia Wasikowska, Julianne Moore, Robert Pattinson and John Cusack.

Production is scheduled to kick off on July 8 in Toronto and Los Angeles on the ghost story that also doubles as a commentary on celebrity culture in Los Angeles. Bruce Wagner wrote the screenplay.

Phoebe Tonkin has picked a side! In a recent interview with Zap2it, Phoebe shared that she is totally “Team Kloraline” saying n of “The Vampire Diaries” herself, Tonkin is hoping he ends up with someone else entirely. “Can I go, first, on the record, and say Team Klaroline,” she says. “Please. I’m on the team. I’m on the team!”

Clearly the actress has no hopes of her character, Hayley, ending up playing happy families with Klaus now that she is pregnant with his child telling Zap2it “I think that Hayley and Klaus got together not thinking it was going to go any further than that one night situation, and that’s life. Things come up. I think they’re going to deal with that, but I think it’s more about the child, and the issue of the pregnancy, as opposed to them being together in a relationship. I don’t really see that happening. But there’s a lot of other characters, and I’m sure Hayley will find someone to help her look after the child.” And Phoebe hopes that she gets to stick around in The Originals for a while as she wants to see a little toddler running around, saying “I want a little kid running around! I can babysit and hang out,” she says. “I was a nanny, so I feel like it’s my element, having a child on my hip.”

All Vampire Diaries fans know that later this year we are going to be the original family in their own self titled spin off series. The series will follow Klaus, Elijah and sister, Rebekah back to New Orleans all for their own reasons. Just Jared Jr recently shared these spoilers from the cast.

1. Witches’ Revenge:
“Klaus needs [Sophie]. She’s going to start practicing magic, which she hasn’t been able to do for the the longest time and I think I can protect myself. Witches aren’t nearly as powerful as vampires, but they are essential.” – Daniella Pineda

2. Power struggles:
“[Klaus and Marcel] are going to be butt heads, definitely. There’s that friction there. I just really want to see [Marcel] evolve. I want to see different sides of him open up. That’s definitely going to happen I think with how competitive and ambitious they both are.” – Charles Michael Davis

The Tomorrow People
They are the next evolutionary leap of mankind, a generation of humans born with paranormal abilities — the Tomorrow People. The 100
Ninety-seven years ago, nuclear Armageddon decimated planet Earth, destroying civilization.
