Oh, Crowley. Have some self-respect, man. You’re the King of Rotten!
On Supernatural Season 9 Episode 16, however, he won’t exactly be acting this way, as Crowley reaches out to Sam and Dean for help with his addiction.
This might cause a problem with that whole search for The First Blade, huh? Watch a humorous clip from “Blade Runners” now:
In this episode, a teenage girl is killed and the final selfie she took before the attack shows a ghostly figure in the background. Looking for something to keep them busy, Dean and Sam head to Washington to find the ghost. While the two interview the girl’s mother, Betty, they are surprised when she starts talking about cold spots and fritzing. When they ask her about bringing up paranormal signs, Betty replies that the “supernaturalists” who called earlier brought it up. Enter Harry and Ed, the famous supernaturalists.
“Supernatural” follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers bound by tragedy and blood to the one thing that runs through bothof their veins – hunting monsters. This past season, Dean and Sam faced insurmountable obstacles: Sam returned from Hell without his soul, and Dean risked everything to get it back for him. The power struggle between good and evil raged on, with the new King of Hell, Crowley, ultimately emerging as their adversary. Shockingly, Crowley had made a secret deal with Sam and Dean’s closest friend, the angel Castiel, who is now a desperate freedom fighter on the losing side of a post-apocalyptic civil war in heaven. Together, the uneasy allies sought to open a door to purgatory, where a great untapped well of souls lies waiting to be used as the ultimate form of military power.
“Supernatural” season 9, episode 15 “#THINMAN” airs March 4, 9 p.m. ET on The CW. Spoiler video below:
In the Supernatural mid-season finale, we learned that the angel inhabiting Sam wasn’t Ezekiel after all, but an angel named Gadreel. Metatron recruited Gadreel to help him rebuild Heaven. However, he first had to eliminate threats to Metatron’s cause. His first casualty? Kevin.
We were left with the young prophet dead and Sam’s consciousness buried completely in his own body. Meanwhile, Castiel, after being taken captive by one of the feuding angel factions on Earth, killed another angel and stole his grace for himself, making him an angel once more
DEAN’S BEST CHANCE OF SAVING SAM LIES WITH CROWLEY — Dean (Jensen Ackles) is devastated after Kevin’s death and vows to find the angel that killed him, not only to free Sam (Jared Padalecki), but to seek revenge. Castiel (Misha Collins) arrives at the bunker and suggests they try to separate Sam’s brain from the angel’s so they can talk to Sam and have him expel Gadreel. However, there’s one small problem: the only person who knows how to do that is Crowley (Mark Sheppard). Robert Singer directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (910).
We can see from the promo above, as well as the synopsis for episode 11 “First Born,” that Gadreel is ejected from Sam’s body fairly quickly. However, it looks like Sam will feel the need to make amends while Dean and Crowley run into Cain in their search for a dagger that can kill Abaddon.
Also notable in the promo is the return of DJ Qualls’ Garth, who was last seen in season 8?s “Southern Comfort.” He has since been repeatedly mentioned as supposedly looking after Kevin while the Winchesters were on the road.
