The CW released a new Vampire Diaries Poster last week along with the synopsis for the season finale and a few spoilers:
Whilst fans of the Vampire Diaries in Australia are gearing up for the upcoming Hub Productions Home to Mystic Falls convention to be held on the 11/12th May and whilst the last few episodes of the season wont have aired by the time the convention comes around, there is plenty of spoilers to keep fans on their toes.
After EP, Julie Plec recently revealed that if fans don’t want to see another cast member die then “you may want to skip finale. Or hide behind a box of Kleenex.” bets on the internet seem to be hedging on Tyler being the one to go. TV Guide shares that Tyler’s fate rests solely in the hands of Klaus, who will decide whether to let Tyler and Caroline be happy. From recent interviews with Joseph Morgan, it seems that even though Klaus has moved to New Orleans, he certainly isn’t giving up hope on Caroline. Joseph explains, “He’s going to make it clear what’s OK and what’s not OK as far as Tyler goes. So yeah, that’s not just going to be left open.” So is this the end for Tyler? Something I wish Micheal Trevino was able to share with us when he makes his appearance at the upcoming Aussie Convention.
However, with the release of the official synopsis for the season finale, titled “Graduation”, it may in fact not be Tyler but Damon that is going to see the end, or possibly even take the cure to be sure he stays alive?
“On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores and fulfilling their supernatural destinies. Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) life is in danger after a ghostly encounter, while Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) join forces to battle a ghost determined to find the cure. As everyone gathers for the graduation ceremony and the ghosts converge, help comes from an unlikely hero. Caroline (Candice Accola) receives a touching and unexpected graduation present, and Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) plan leads to the closing of the veil. Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and faces an epic confrontation with Katherine (Nina Dobrev). Finally, Stefan (Paul Wesley) discovers a horrifying clue to the mystery surrounding Silas.”
Who do you think will be the one to see the end of Mystic Falls this season finale?
