Just like with the Moyer masterpiece, Kristin announced on Facebook that the proceeds will go toward the preservation of African elephants, a cause to which she and her husband are very devoted. (Make sure you check out the website for the van Stratens’ documentary, Out for Africa.)

And that, friends, totally gives you an excuse. “I’m blowing two months’ rent to save the elephants” sounds so much better than “I’m blowing two months’ rent to decorate the ceiling above my bed.”
