If you thought that just because the show had finished for the year, that the news was going to die down, your sadly mistaken. Each day we are just getting more and more articles through on The Vampire Diaries. Whilst all this is great, it just makes me pine more for Season 4. Speaking of which, Ask Ausiello was recently asked if he could shed some light on Season 4:
Question: I know it’s a little premature, but anything on the new season of The Vampire Diaries? —Pam
Ausiello: Elena’s “death” will weigh heavily on Matt and Jeremy. As EP Julie Plec notes, “I think that’s the worst tragedy of all is that they plotted together to get her out of town so she wouldn’t have to be part of this life. And now as a result of having been on that bridge at that moment, Matt is basically responsible in his own way for her being the one thing she never wanted to be. He’s going to carry that very heavily. It’s going to take his some time to get past that. And I would say certainly Jeremy, who would never want this for his sister, is going to have a real, real visceral reaction against Rebekah for what [she] did. There might be a little bit of retribution.”
Sounds like some rough times ahead for the humans of Mystic Falls.
On the interview front, there is still plenty of them surfacing from the recent CW Upfronts. Nina Dobrev took some time to speak with US Weekly and Paul Wesley too time to speak with TV Guide. Check them out below.
Nina Dobrev is currently in Cannes and recently attended the amfAR Gala in a stunning sexy blue off-shoulder sequin gown from Elie Saab‘s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. BULGARI jewels, silver strappy heels and a matching clutch completed her look. The star swept back her luscious locks in a simple updo, as to not take away from this show-stopping sequin dress. It seems that Nina is definitely dressing more grown up, and this could be her sexiest look ever!
Back on the interview front, Candice Accola recently spoke with TVdotcom:
Sad news for Australian fans, with Candice getting a role in a movie and being unable to attend the upcoming Hub Productions, Vampire Diaires Convention. It would have been fantastic to meet her, but we all wish her well in her new role. Some wont be too disappointed, as the Hub have managed to replace Candice with Matt Davis, who’s character Alaric was farewelled at the end of Season 3.
