We’ve been drowning in comfort food and magical potions ever since news broke that The Secret Circle had been cancelled, but could there be a light at the end of this Chris Zylka-less tunnel?
A Zap2it reporter recently tweeted that TSC could be adopted by another network, saying “In the ‘tiny shred of hope’ department, there’s a possibility that they’ll look into other options (ABC Family, etc).”
ABC Family is a strong contender for a TSC pick-up (they love themselves some fantasy), but fans hope MTV and Netflix are also viable options. Netflix has expressed interest in picking up CBS’s Jericho, and might be in the market for more “cult favorites,” while MTV fans say TSC would pair perfectly with Teen Wolf. In fact, fans have started a Make-a-Wish to Save-a-Witch campaign, which has two aims: donating $20,000 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and getting the attention of MTV, in th the hopes that the network will pick up the show.
