You have been warned!! This article contains MAJOR spoilers about the upcoming episode 19 titled “Heart of Darkness” thanks to The Hollywood Reporter
We haven’t seen Jeremy in Mystic Falls for some time now, since Elena thought it better for his safety to send him to Denver. But in the upcoming April 19 episode it seems that this is not the case. Elena & Damon head on out to Denver to enlist Jeremys help in speaking to a dead vampire. Whilst there they realise that Jeremy has made some not so good friends.
“After all the efforts to keep him safe, ultimately [Elena and company] are going to realize he may not be safe anywhere. Mystic Falls, where people can look out for him, may be the best place for him to be,” executive producer Julie Plec told The Hollywood Reporter.
Thanks to THR we have four images from Vampire Diaries’ April 19 return, “Heart of Darkness,” in which Damon and Elena arrive in Denver only to discover that Jeremy isn’t exactly hanging out with the right group of people. In fact, it’s original vampire Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) who picks up a baseball bat and strikes Damon while Jeremy and Elena watch in the background.
In other Vampire Diaries news, Executive producer Julie Plec said that in Vampire Diaries Season 3, Episode 20, “Do Not Go Gentle,” Caroline and Rebekah will have a “mean girl power struggle” over exactly which decade they should choose for the dance. According to what Candice Accola told Zap2It, the two cheerleading bloodsuckers facing off is going to be fun to watch. “My favorite scene is between Caroline and Rebekah, when Rebekah decides that she wants to be part of the dance,” Candice says. “There’s a really fun scene between them. I really like their cadence of dialogue. They don’t like each other at all, but even though they can’t stand each other, there’s still an underlying current of mutual respect, which gives them great moments.” While Caroline wants to take it to Funky Town with a ‘70s dance, Rebekah insists upon the Roaring ‘20s — and gets her way.
Nina Dobrev recently spoke with Gold Derby, and they grilled her for some Season 3 finale details. See what she had to say here… if you don’t mind some spoilers!
WE all hoate to love Klaus or Love to hate Klaus, but there is no denying that there are sparks flying between him and Caroline this season. Joseph Morgan recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that there may just be a chance for a Klaus/Caroline hook up yet!
THR: Next week, Tyler comes back into the fold. How does his reappearance impact Klaus, especially in regards to Caroline?
Morgan: At the moment, Klaus isn’t taking that threat seriously. As far as he’s concerned, Tyler is sired to him so there’s really no worry. He really doesn’t see Tyler as a threat right now. His vanity doesn’t allow him to think why would anybody would want this kind of frat boy instead of him, this worldly man of culture who’s incredibly powerful. He doesn’t even conceive how there’s a choice to be made. [It] will be a huge weakness, a huge chink in his armor because he’s underestimating someone who’s going to potentially become his enemy. With everything Klaus is all or nothing so he’ll go for what he wants and as we’ve seen, he is interested in Caroline. If he has an opportunity with her he’s going to take it. The other thing I will add is he’s a very patient man. You don’t get to a thousand years old without having a little patience. Sometimes the best laid plans are the ones that play out over a long period of time.THR: Does he have ulterior motives with Caroline?
Morgan: His feelings about Caroline are genuine. There isn’t a motive there where [viewers will] find he’s been manipulating her all along for something that he wants. I wouldn’t say in love at this point but I’d say he’s infatuated with this blonde young vampire girl who doesn’t understand her true potential and her true power of being what she is. She really has no idea how truly beautiful she is to him.THR: So he’s trying to bring that out of her?
Morgan: He thinks he can help her embrace that. He honestly believes that she would live a richer, fuller happier life with him. He wants to show her the world. I feel like I’ve seen tiny glimpses of doubt from [Caroline]. We’ll see, there may be a chance for Klaus yet.And as for the season finale? What does Joseph have to share on that?
THR: Do you have any idea as to where your character is going at the end of the season?
Morgan: He’s wanted dead by the majority of Mystic Falls by now so the finale for Klaus, a lot of it is going to be about trying to survive. He’s going to make sure he secures Elena’s safety because she’s his source of doppelganger blood. If things start getting too hot, it’s going to be about making his escape intact — and I would imagine he’s going to want Elena and Rebekah with him.
