Supernatural’s going on its midseason break after episode 10, “Death’s Door,” but there are already spoilers out about what to expect when the show returns in January with episode 11. So what’s coming up for the Winchester brothers?
SPN season 7 episode 11 spoilers
TVLine has some spoilers about what to expect from the January 6 episode, which will feature Once Upon a Time’s Meghan Ory (Ruby) guest starring as Sally, “a frightened ‘working girl’ who comes to Sam for help.” As Ory explains, “Life’s hard when you’re turning tricks. Plus, there’s some stuff going down at the place that she works, and she has nowhere to turn except to Sam. He’s in the right place at the right time.” So how does Sam end up crossing paths with Sally? According to Ory, “Sally works out of a truck stop. She’s a good girl who’s doing everything she can to survive, and Sam is there to help her do that.” Just what is Sally going to need help with? Will Sam be able to save her? With only Sam mentioned here, does this mean he and Dean are once again separated? Are they just working separate cases, or is there a specific reason for that? With “Death’s Door” set to have Bobby’s life hanging in a balance, could it end with his death and the brothers separating to grieve? Could Bobby survive and Dean’s with him helping him recover while Sam’s dealing with whatever Sally needs help with in this Supernatural episode?
Of course the question of any sparks between Sally and Sam came up, and Ory did say, “Aren’t there always sparks with Sam? At any given moment?” If Sam does end up sleeping with her, will she end up dying? Dean himself pointed out that pattern this season already, but just because there are sparks between them doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily sleep together. Sally could still make it out of this situation alive, depending on just what they’re facing.
