Supernatural will be beginning its seventh season with its number one angel, Castiel, no longer an angel but now God, and everyone’s wondering what Misha Collins no longer being a series regular means for his future. Will he be around past the first two episodes? What’s coming up for Castiel? Can he come back from what he has become?

According to Entertainment Weekly, Misha Collins has said, “I would like to see him redeemed somehow. I hope that happens for Cas. I don’t know how much—or if that’s going to happen. But I hope so.” However, the character has been described as “drunk with power,” and there’s no way that Sam and Dean are going to let that continue (they do summon a certain character who has said he will reap God).

In fact, Collins talked about what the Winchester brothers role will be in the Castiel storyline on Supernatural, of course with some joking: “[Sam and Dean] are being kind of a pain in the ass, honestly. They need to be whipped into shape a little bit, in my humble opinion. It’s hard to talk about without ruining it for you. But I sort of start the season off letting sleeping dogs lie with them because they are completely powerless and ineffectual against me. Of course, they end up being a thorn in my side—as they always tend to do.” It makes sense that Castiel isn’t too worried about them in the beginning—he does have his plans, after all, some of which are for Crowley, and with all the power he now has, it’s not like it’s going to be easy to stop him, whether that’s killing him or just taking away that power. However, that’s not going to stop them, and though they have faced some big villains before—remember Lucifer and the Apocalypse?—that doesn’t mean they’re not going to try.

Finally, when asked about the death count, Misha Collins said, “Definitely in the thousands; I don’t think in the millions, but I could be wrong… but it’s definitely not at or near zero.” Photos from set have shown him standing over what appear to be dead angels, so it’s just going to be a matter of who ends up dead, not if anyone ends up dead. He already killed Balthazar and Raphael in the season 6 finale; could Crowley be next on his list or are his plans something different?

What do you think will happen with Castiel in Supernatural season 7?

Nothing makes me feel more giddy inside than to type, “So, I was hanging out with the cast of Supernatural the other day…” But it’s TRUE! Comic-Con was truly a meat-market… of scoop. (Gutter brains!) And while I detailed much of it in my wrap-up of the gang’s Comic-Con panel (You read that… right?) I definitely saved a bit for you, Roomies!

This bit comes from Misha Collins, the unangelic former-angel-turned-God, who explained to a roundtable of reporters that he has hope for Castiel’s redemption this season — even though he has yet to read of anything promising in the scripts so far. “Having lived with him for the last three years, Cas definitely has a soft spot in my heart,” he said. “I have an affection for the character, and I would like to see him redeemed somehow. I hope that happens for Cas. I don’t know how much — or if that’s going to happen. But I hope so. Because I kind of like the guy.” Um, so do we. (I think…) But Cas’ “drunk with power” persona won’t get a great reception from those other guys we happen to like on the show, Collins said.

“[Sam and Dean] are being kind of a pain in the ass, honestly. They need to be whipped into shape a little bit, in my humble opinion,” he said, with a hint of humor in his voice. “It’s hard to talk about without ruining it for you. But I sort of start the season off letting sleeping dogs lie with them because they are completely powerless and ineffectual against me. Of course, they end up being a thorn in my side — as they always tend to do.”

As for the body count in the first three scripts (1, 2, and 4 are the ones he’s received so far) Collins says it’s high. “Definitely in the thousands; I don’t think in the millions, but I could be wrong… but it’s definitely not at or near zero.” Who’s joining me Sept. 23?

We recently had a chance to speak with Paul Wesley, star of The Vampire Diaries, on Season 3. As all TVD fans know, last season ended with Stefan Salvatore going back to his drug of choice.

Wesley discusses the implications of his return to addiction as well as the evolution in his relationship with Klaus (Joseph Morgan). If you thought that Klaus and Stefan would be a straight-up dynamic duo think again. He also expands on showrunner Julie Plec’s previous interview regarding the time jump.

At the end of the interview, Wesley also shares a very special message to Vampire Diaries fans so you’ll definitely want to check this one out.

TVD returns on Thursday, Sept 15 at 8pm ET, followed by The Secret Circle on the CW.

Okay, “Vampire Diaries” fans. Calm down. When we mentioned the sudsy scene that the “TVD” team shared with us at Comic-Con, in which Elena (Nina Dobrev) stumbles across a proudly naked and soapy Damon (Ian Somerhalder), you… well, you did exactly what we expected you to do. You begged for it to be released online.

Though we weren’t allowed to record the video at the Comic-Con panel, The CW and Warner Bros. finally released it to the internet.

So… here you go. The sizzle reel begins with footage from Season 1 and 2 to tease us about what’s to come, and then we get to the very first Season 3 scene.

Elena is walking through the Salvatore house getting ready to head out. (It begs the question — does she still live there?) That’s when Damon, fresh out of the bath… very fresh out of the bath… interrupts her. “You know, you should learn to knock,” he says, standing there in all his glory. “What if I was indecent?”
