True Blood has already begun its fourth season, but one character is missing from the first two episodes (the second episode can already be seen on HBO On Demand and HBO Go): Alcide. When will he be back on the show and what will be going on in his life when he does?
The return of the werewolf
Joe Manganiello croppedFortunately for fans, TVGuide has some spoilers about what will happen when the werewolf does come back into Sookie’s life in the third episode. When he and Sookie do cross paths again, he’s “spoken for,” and Sookie’s reaction to that news is described as “interesting.” However, with everything going on in Sookie’s life – Eric now owning her house, Eric losing his memory, and Bill now King, she “will need his help.”
According to Joe Manganiello, “The great thing about Sookie is that she drags him off on all these adventures. She’s the key in unlocking that reluctant hero inside of him and he recognizes that as a good thing.” So even if there isn’t any romance between Sookie and Alcide this season on True Blood, it sounds like there will at least be plenty of scenes featuring the two once he returns, and he could be just what she needs to make sense of everything she’s going through at the moment. Will he be able to help her find a way to keep Eric out of her house?
