The stunt performers and coordinators from “True Blood” are recipients of this year’s Screen Actors Guild honors for Outstanding Performance by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles, it was announced today from the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet by Screen Actors Guild Awards Committee Chair JoBeth Williams and Screen Actors Guild President Ken Howard. The announcement was made on the live SAG Awards red carpet pre-show webcast on tnt.tv and tbs.com which streams until 8:00 p.m. (ET) / 5:00 p.m. (PT).

The Vancouver Sun caught up with Nina Dobrev recently.

“I wasn’t told, when I started, that I’d be kicking (butt),” Dobrev said, between coughs, clapping her hand over her mouth, and apologizing quickly. “I knew that I was playing Elena, who is this wholesome, sweet girl in a tragic scenario.

“And here we are, a year and a half later, and she’s being hunted and nearly killed . . . but I’m also Katherine, this crazy psychotic. It’s been awesome. It’s a great arc.”

“As Katherine, I mean, as Elena, I hope I don’t kill myself as Katherine,” Dobrev said, then shook her head as if to clear it of cobwebs. “Wow. It’s confusing. . . . I think I’m slowly becoming a schizophrenic because of it. But it’s cool. It’s an interesting . . . sorry, I forgot the question. I’m so, like, confused now.”
