TV Overmind have the following tidbits on True Blood Season Four!

While we don’t know a lot about season four, but we do know that it will be based upon the fourth novel in the Southern Vampire Mysteries series, Dead to the World, and it will heavily involve witches, who we were introduced to a little last year. Now, we have just a tidbit more of information about the upcoming season: the second episode will be set in Eric’s vampire bar Fangtasia, and will be titled “You Smell Like Dinner,” according to E! News.

Digital Spy is also reporting that some additional rumors have hit regarding the episode: “A source on the set has revealed that two new structures are being built for the show. The first is a bakery or a pie shop, while the second is a ‘weird looking metal shack.'”

Dose recently had an opportunity to sit down with Nina Dobrev and ask her about Elena’s changes over the last 12mths, her thoughts on playing Katherine and the challenges of playing the two characters.

“You always hope that a show will be successful and it will do well and people will watch it and love it, so we always had hopeful expectations,” Dobrev says. “And then when the show premiered, it started doing well and had a good response, we were absolutely thrilled. It’s just been going strong since then; the ratings have been consistent, people are still watching and I think it’s because we’re still delivering intense, jam-packed, sexy, dramatic, action-filled episodes.”

“As Katherine, I can get away with a lot more and say a lot more and be a little bit more edgy and bad. She has a very playful personality. As soon as I put on the heels and they start curling my hair, I’m in the zone,” Dobrev explains. “As Elena, it’s the same thing: I put on the Converse and jeans and a T-shirt, and I feel like this strong, young woman, figuring herself out. That’s who she is: she’s figuring herself out and she’s growing.”

And while Elena may not be as over-the-top as Katherine, Dobrev appreciates that she’s evolved beyond the sulky teenager who is constantly in danger.

News.com.au had a chance to have a quick chat with Ryan Kwanten on his arrival in Sydney earlier today.

TRUE Blood star Ryan Kwanten touched down in Sydney this morning for a flying visit to attend the annual GQ Men of the Year Awards tonight.
The home-grown hunk, who celebrated his 34th birthday at a swanky Chicago nightclub over the weekend, arrived at Sydney International Airport at around 8.30am on an American Airlines from LA.

Dressed in a low-key hat and an anorak, the actor – who arrived on his own and blended in with the crowd at the airport – spoke exclusively with Sydney Confidential before hopping into a taxi service waiting for him.

The star is staying in Sydney for one night only for the GQ awards and flies back to LA tomorrow morning.

“Usually I spend more time on the air than I do on the land,” Kwanten joked. “I’m in town for one night – the things I do!”
